Continuing our tradition of presenting the world’s best organists at the Annual Bach Festival, we are thrilled to bring back celebrated organist Paul Jacobs to Knowles Memorial Chapel. This Grammy Award– winning artist will remind us why the organ has been called “King of the Instruments.” The New York Times called Jacobs “a virtuoso of dazzling technical acumen,” and The Washington Post stated that he is “one of the great living virtuosos.” Free and open to the public, this recital is made possible by Rollins College through the Faith Emeny Conger ’54 Visiting Organist Concert Series in Honor of John Oliver Rich ’38.

Chuck Siepp, trumpet and Randall Sheets, organ

Trumpeter Chuck Seipp and organist Randall Sheets are two performers at the top of their craft. Dr. Sheets is Ceremonial Organist for Arlington National Cemetery (retired), and Dr. Seipp is Sergeant Major (retired) from The United States Army Band, “Pershing’s Own” in Washington, DC. For the past several seasons, the Seipp/Sheets Duo has performed as many as 25 programs yearly to enthusiastic audiences across America and were featured at the prestigious Piccolo Spoleto Organ Festival. The recital is free to the public and funded by Rollins College through the Faith Emeny Conger ’54 Visiting Organist Series in Honor of John Oliver Rich ’38.
